Communication
- Collaborated effectively with managers, hosts, other interns, teachers from various
schools, students (Prep to Year 12), and their parents. - Developed listening skills, particularly when translating non-technical feedback from a manager into data solutions.
Data Analysis
- Gained hands-on experience with Python for cleaning and organizing spreadsheets from 2006-2023 into a combined event log.
- Used KNIME, Excel, and Power BI to process data and create visualizations, showcasing trends by region, gender, and Indigenous groups.
- Improved the ability to align data processing with non-technical user needs, adjusting visual reports based on feedback.
Public Speaking
- Hosted science experiments for young children, adapting language to their level and boosting confidence in public speaking.
Problem-Solving
- Solved problems flexibly by addressing questions from teachers and parents.
- Proactively offered assistance and anticipated potential challenges, raising them with my manager.
